This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. We have an exciting opportunity for a Apprentice Administrator to join our team in West & South Yorkshire!

Hours

Monday - Friday: core office hours

Salary

This position is full time and you will receive a salary of £21,000 whilst gaining an apprenticeship qualification

Location

We have two roles available:

  • West Yorkshire - Leeds Hub
  • South Yorkshire - Doncaster Hub

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

What you'll be doing

As our new Administrator/Receptionist, you will:

  • Be responsible for providing the first impression to those attending site. You will be a warm and welcoming presence, offering advice guidance and support as required
  • Deal with service users, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email in a professional and courteous manner
  • Use IT systems, clinical templates and data to ensure reporting is accurate.
  • Take responsibility for ordering and maintaining site stock, ensuring all items are available, well organised, and kept fully up to date
  • Escort visitors and contractors around the hub as and when required
  • You will also be responsible for liaison with a range of agencies, internally and externally

Additional requirements for Apprenticeship eligibility:

  • Must live in England and have done for the last 3 years
  • If a visa is required to work it must be valid for the duration of the apprenticeship
  • Must not be undertaking a government funded training course at the same time
  • Have not previously studied the same course content

Qualifications and skills required:

  • English grade 4 GCSE or equivalent level 2 qualification
  • Math grade 4 GCSE- desirable
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Willingness to work towards a level 2 Administration Assistant /Level 3 in Business Administration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • Good IT skills and IT literacy
  • Ability to work within a busy environment
