About The Role
In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced, corporate environment, providing proactive day to day administrative support to members of the College Leadership Team and their areas of responsibility, including Student Employability Services, Quality, Teaching, Learning and Innovation, Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Student Services.
You will provide a friendly, and professional service to internal and external partners, stakeholders and visitors, supporting in the delivery of a high-quality service in support of the above functions. You will be expected to have excellent customer service skills, proficient IT skills and be able to communicate on all levels.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Student Employability Services, Assistant Principal Quality, Teaching, Learning and Innovation, Head of EDI and Director of Student Services by providing high quality, professional and confidential administrative support, including:
- Effective diary support as required
- Providing a welcoming and supportive experience to internal colleagues and external stakeholders, visitors, and key partners.
- Service internal and external meetings, some confidential, including preparing meeting agendas and papers and at times attending meetings to take notes and to record and maintain action tracker logs.
- Arrange, as required, appropriate internal and external meeting and training spaces, refreshments, and hospitality as well as any other requirements.
- Coordinate external conference, event, and training bookings, organise travel and accommodation as required, including producing detailed itineraries.
- Support with the planning and organising of specific events and visits hosted at the college.
- Raise purchase requisitions using the internal finance system, ensuring all requisitions are approved by the budget holder, and goods receipted timely, whilst ensuring adherence to college financial regulations.
- Support with the maintenance, formatting and proofreading of related papers, reports, and key documents, ensuring up to date corporate templates are used.
- Undertake photocopying, scanning, and filing of documentation.
- Volunteer and support cross college events i.e., Open Days.
- Work collaboratively with other college teams as required.

As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £27,455 - £29,810 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
