Your new role
Working for an animal charity based in Sidmouth. This role is up until Christmas and is full-time Monday-Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.

  • Taking inbound calls from new and existing supporters who wish to donate or place orders.
  • Navigate CRM system to accurately identify and retrieve records.
  • Accurately complete forms to record supporter, adoption, donation, and credit card information received by telephone.
  • Open and prepare incoming post in accordance with departmental guidelines, encompassing cash handling protocols.
  • Accurate processing of credit/debit card transactions via a PDQ terminal.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Act as an effective Ambassador for the organisation, demonstrating behaviour which supports their strategy and values and works in a way which promotes the standards described in the Competency & Standards Framework.
  • To work within the guidelines with regard to conduct, recognising its policies with regard to equality, and showing respect and co-operation towards colleagues.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and complete all mandatory training, and if you are a manager, support your team to also follow the policies and procedures.
  • Under Health & Safety legislation, ensure that you remain informed of the risks inherent to your role, working in the safest way possible to eliminate or reduce the risks and report any concerns, changes, accidents, and near misses immediately.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuing personal development.
  • To co-operate with management and colleagues to promote good communications through sharing appropriate information and building positive working relationships.
