Job Description
We have a great opportunity for an Administrator to join our Supply Chain Department based in our Head Office in Thame, Oxfordshire. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm and we are operating a hybrid model of working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
This is a 12 month FTC to cover maternity leave from the end of September.
Key Elements of the Role:
- Ensure that all Customer Service operations are conducted to provide the highest service in terms of general dealings with the customer in order to contribute in a positive manner to the overall customer experience.
- Support purchasing administrator with some purchasing activities.
- Monitor the department inbox to ensure all communication is handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Answer and handle telephone calls which come into the department.
- Respond to customer enquiries relating to availability and pricing of product.

Skills & Requirements
This job offers wide variation of tasks and challenges therefore the ideal candidate will:
- Have general office administration experience.
- Possess good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have excellent IT skills and knowledge are essential (Word/Excel) the ability to type would be an advantage. SAP usage or another ERP system would be desirable.
- Be focused, well organised with a professional approach whilst prioritising to ensure all work is completed to the correct standards and timescales.
- Ensure that all practices are conducted in a legal, ethical, confidential and moral way.
- Work closely in a collaborative way with all internal departments to ensure that the highest level of customer service is achieved both internally and externally.
- Purchasing experience desirable.
