Job Description

Administrator - Grain Trading Team

Job Purpose

The Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Grain Trading team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of contracts and related documentation. This role serves as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders, helping to maintain efficient trading operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and maintain grain trading contracts.
  • Verify contract details for accuracy, including pricing, quantities, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
  • Track contract amendments and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain departmental records.
  • Support continuous improvement of administrative processes.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the line manager.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle commercially sensitive information.
