Job Title: Administrator
Location: Bolton
Contract: Temporary (Initial 3 Months, with potential extension)
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Flexible Core Hours
Working Pattern: Office Based
Reporting To: Business Support Manager
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role
An established organisation within the health, care and community services sector is seeking an Administrator to join their Business Support team on an initial three-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator to support a key data retention project. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will play a vital role in ensuring records are reviewed, maintained and managed in line with data retention requirements and internal policies. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with sensitive information, possess excellent attention to detail and enjoy working within a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of an ongoing data retention project.
- Review, organise and maintain electronic and manual records.
- Ensure documentation is retained, archived or disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Update internal systems and databases accurately.
- Carry out high-volume data processing and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails.
- Support wider Business Support activities as required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve queries.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Produce reports and administrative documentation when required.

Skills & Experience
- Previous administration experience within an office-based environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong data entry, document management and record-keeping skills.
- Previous experience working on data retention, records management or document archiving projects would be highly advantageous.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage high volumes of information.
- Confident IT user with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively within a small, close-knit team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, personable and proactive approach with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
