Administrator

Join CILEx Regulation and play a key role in maintaining professional standards across the legal profession.

On behalf of our client, CILEx Regulation, we are seeking a Practitioner Administrator to join its Practitioner Authorisation and Supervision team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within legal regulation while supporting the authorisation of legal professionals and helping to uphold high professional standards.

Working closely with the Practitioner Authorisation and Supervision Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative processes, supporting applicants throughout the authorisation journey and ensuring applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key facts

  • This is a full-time, permanent role.
  • Starting salary: £25,000 per annum + benefits, including generous pension contributions (8% employer contributions when the employee contributes 3%), a starting holiday entitlement of 25 days per year plus public holidays, access to healthcare plans and discount schemes, and flexible remote working arrangements.
  • Home-based - you can be based anywhere in the UK.

The role

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide administrative support throughout the practitioner authorisation process.
  • Process applications through a structured regulatory framework.
  • Liaise with applicants, regulated professionals and internal assessors via email, telephone and written correspondence.
  • Monitor compliance with supervision requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information in line with GDPR.
  • Assist with the preparation of guidance documents and support stakeholders with regulatory requirements.
  • Help promote professional and educational standards across the regulated community.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
