Administrator - Fixings & Supports Team
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Fixings & Supports team, based in Southampton. This position is designed for someone who has excellent attention to detail, is highly organised, and has customer service experience.

24 hours per week (Days and times to be agreed)

Main Duties
Main responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
- Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of administrative, logistical, and assistant-type duties, while supporting other team members for optimal productivity. This will include chasing suppliers for expected delivery dates. Updating customers on when to expect their goods. Providing customers with estimated times of arrival and proof of deliveries.
- Supporting the team on all aspects of the sales process through quotes, orders, receipts, and despatch to provide a high level of customer support to new and existing customers. This will include investigating any issues and considering the best solutions to problems that may arise.
- Raising credits and replacement items. Requesting claims for items lost by a carrier.
- Running reports to ensure our stock levels are correct, to keep our system tidy and accurate.
- General administrative support including answering the phones, filing, and dealing with e-mails.
- Keeping the stores area in an acceptable condition and always acting in compliance with the Group's Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems.

- Other Duties:
- Undertaking any other duties that are within the skill and capability of the individual as directed by the manager or other designated supervisors.
- All tasks to be performed in compliance with the Group's Health & Safety and Quality Control systems, as well as any other applicable management systems and best practices implemented by R&M Electrical Group.

Key Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent accuracy/ Attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Good MS Office skills (good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in general)

Training
Training will be delivered primarily through on-the-job learning, enabling employees to develop their skills and knowledge within a real working environment. Employees will receive practical, hands-on experience, supported by ongoing guidance, coaching, and supervision to ensure effective learning and development.
