An Exciting Opportunity for an Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator with Community Care Services Admin Team within the Community Rehab Team (CRT) office.
The post is for 24.3 hours per week, Monday to Friday, primarily 1000 – 1400, based at Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
About the Role
This role forms part of the Community Care administrative service, supporting the Community Rehabilitation Teams, whose aim is to enhance the quality of care and outcomes for older adults by enabling them to remain independent in their own homes, homely settings, or communities.
The CRT provides a person-centred and integrated approach to hospital admission and discharge, intermediate care, and reablement. The service is designed to deliver seamless care through improved coordination and alignment of services.
This post is integral to the Community Care Services administration team, supporting clinical referrals to the CRT and acting as the first point of contact for the Fife-wide Single Point of Access (SPOA). This role is critical to the effective functioning of the wider system, requiring a high level of accuracy to manage the complex referral process.

Qualifications and Skills
- Educated to Higher level, or hold an SVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification, or possess equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and familiarity with databases
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional public holiday cover on a rotational basis
- Positive attitude towards delivering high-quality customer service and effective team collaboration
Additional Information
- There may be a requirement to work across sites
- A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment
