Administrator
Our client is an established wealth management business based in NW London, specialising in providing investment and financial planning services to clients, many of whom are retired and based overseas.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join their established team and provide support across the day-to-day running of the office, working closely with the Wealth Managers and Financial Planners.
This is a varied role combining client administration, financial administration and general office responsibilities. The successful candidate will be an important point of contact for clients and will need to be highly organised, professional and confident managing a varied workload.
Responsibilities
- Managing incoming emails, telephone calls and general client enquiries, directing queries to the relevant Wealth Manager where required
- Preparing correspondence and letters following client reviews and meetings
- Supporting the Wealth Management team with preparation for client reviews
- Arranging client reviews and managing the necessary follow-up afterwards
- Assisting with new client onboarding and processing new business
- Liaising with clients and external providers as required
- Updating and maintaining accurate client information on internal systems
- Recording fees, payments and other relevant financial information
- Preparing new client packs and other documentation
- Monitoring client requests, including requests relating to the movement of funds
- Keeping records and systems up to date
- Monitoring income payments, management fees and asset transfer reports
- Producing client valuations and liaising with providers to obtain outstanding statements
- Dealing with client and provider queries and ensuring they are followed through to completion
- Supporting and overseeing client-related systems and processes
- Assisting with general office administration and management
- Potentially supervising and supporting a Junior Administrator

About You

- At least 3 years' experience in a financial administration role
- Previous experience within wealth management or an IFA environment is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working with figures and financial information
- Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied and changing workload
- Able to work independently while also being part of a wider team
- Professional, personable and confident when dealing with clients
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach
The successful candidate will be joining an established team in a client-facing role where attention to detail, organisation and good communication are particularly important.
Salary: £33,000–£42,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
