There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK's largest house builders. Our PA to Managing Director & Finance Director is looking to recruit an Administrator to join the East Midlands Division.

The Role

The role of Administrator will support the Data Analyst, PA to Managing Director & Finance Director and Construction Team. in the day to day running of the office.

Principal Accountabilities Of The Role Include

  • Deal with telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Respond to Power BI user queries
  • Respond to divisional IT queries
  • Update weekly data retrieves, collate and cleanse data
  • Maintain data logs
  • Update and maintain SharePoint sites, including permission levels and access
  • Organise staff training as directed by the PA, Managing Director & Finance Director, maintaining records, certificates and the upkeep of the Divisions training matrix
  • Ad hoc duties to include: Monthly Safety returns, Plot certificates, Site Inductions, ordering of uniforms
  • Meeting & Greeting of visitors, ensuring they receive a warm welcome
  • Switchboard duties - answering all internal & external telephone calls within a timely, professional & friendly manner
  • Ad hoc duties to include letters, office checks, dealing with incoming & outgoing post
  • Support the PA to Managing Director & Finance Director with various ad hoc administrative duties

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

Experience

  • Experience of working within a busy and fast-paced administrative role
  • Experience of working within the Construction Industry desirable

Qualifications & Training

  • GCSE Maths & English - Grade C or above (or equivalent)

Skills & Aptitude

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation & administration skills, including good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, remaining focused and motivated
  • IT literate, with confidence to leave new systems quickly and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with data and carrying out repetitive administrative tasks
  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Reliable, proactive and able to manage their own workload
  • Interest in gaining experience within data administration in the Construction Industr
  • Interest in Microsoft Power Apps, focusing on Power BI, Power Automate and Sharepoint
  • Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, or reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).

The Role & Working Conditions

  • 35 hours per week over 5 days
  • Office based role
  • Willingness to be flexible in respect to day to day duties
