Company Description

About the role

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive Administrator to join our growing Home Instead team, based in our new Bury St Edmunds office.

This is a varied and important role supporting the smooth running of both our Bury St Edmunds and South Norfolk offices. You’ll be someone who enjoys being busy, solving problems, keeping things organised and working as part of a team.

No two days will be the same. You’ll work closely with our office and care teams, helping ensure our clients receive the highest quality service and our Care Professionals have the support they need.

We are open to considering both full-time and part-time applications, so if you have strong administrative skills and are looking for a role that offers variety and purpose, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support across both offices.
  • Welcoming visitors and answering telephone calls in a warm, professional manner.
  • Managing emails, correspondence and incoming and outgoing post.
  • Keeping databases, records and filing systems accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting the delivery of care by maintaining systems, collecting activity logs and ensuring information is recorded correctly.
  • Making appropriate referrals to health professionals and other relevant services where required.
  • Coordinating annual leave and holidays for our office team and Care Professionals.
  • Supporting the coordination of the on-call rota and handovers.
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
  • Helping with Care Professional engagement and retention activities, including newsletters and recognition initiatives.
  • Supporting invoicing and payroll administration, including entering hours and expenses.
  • Assisting with projects, IT initiatives and improvements across the business.
  • Managing office supplies and ensuring the office has everything it needs.
  • Providing general administrative support wherever required to help the business run effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
