Are you looking for an exciting opportunity where your skills and ideas can make a real impact? At Grundon, we’re looking for a dynamic, passionate and driven Administrator to join our Environment and Sustainability team on a maternity cover basis. Based at our Head Office in Benson, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our environmental and sustainability activities across the business.
By joining Grundon, your contributions will make a real difference as we work together by showing the world that there is more to waste than it seems.
Reporting into the Head of Environmental and Sustainability, you will play an important role in supporting our mission of leaving a better planet for future generations. You will provide effective administrative support to the Environment and Sustainability team, including the accurate and timely administration of the company’s energy and environmental invoicing, ensuring relevant bills are processed efficiently and records are maintained appropriately.

What will you do
- Ensure energy and environmental invoices are accurately coded and processed within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices and related documentation.
- Liaise with utility suppliers to investigate and resolve billing queries and discrepancies.
- Coordinate the collection of energy meter readings from relevant personnel across the business.
- Gather and collate energy and water consumption data from all Grundon sites.
- Process cross-charging information to support the accurate recharging of tenants at Grundon sites.
- Prepare quarterly energy consumption reports and distribute them to relevant site managers.
- Accurately input, maintain and extract data from the environmental database.
- Provide occasional administrative and practical support for environmental fieldwork and monitoring activities.
About you
- GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Science or Mathematics. A Levels or equivalent qualifications would be desirable.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, with the ability to work accurately with data.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to manage and process large volumes of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- A good understanding of your responsibilities and those of others in creating a safe working environment.
- A positive, proactive attitude and be excited to develop your skills and knowledge in environmental and sustainability matters.
- A strong team player who is equally confident working independently and using your own initiative.
- A full UK driving licence
