Temporary Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Location: Cambuslang

Contract: Fixed-Term (12 Months) with potential for extension

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time

Immediate Start Available

We are currently seeking an organised, proactive, and reliable Administrator to join a busy and established business on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who can hit the ground running and provide vital support across various areas of the organisation.

The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and will enjoy working within a fast-paced office environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing administrative support across the business
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and records
  • Match high volumes of purchase invoices to orders and batch for processing
  • Assist with the preparation of subcontractor payments
  • Prepare and submit weekly timesheets
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for employees
  • Manage and monitor stationery supplies
  • Maintain training and HR records
  • Collate and submit vehicle inspection documentation

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (essential)
  • Previous experience within an office-based administrative role
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Reliable, dependable, and proactive approach to work
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexible and approachable with a willingness to support colleagues where required
