Freedom has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Cable Engineering Services Contract De-programming team based in Wakefield.

Working as part of a small but busy team, you will play a key role in supporting the Faults workstream, ensuring work is accurately approved, validated and billed. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills and the ability to work closely with subcontractors, operational teams and senior management.

Full training will be provided on Freedom's systems and processes.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Support the approval and billing process for the Faults workstream.
  • Validate measurements, costs and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to obtain and verify required information.
  • Work closely with operational teams and senior management to resolve queries and support efficient billing processes.
  • Ensure all records and documentation are maintained accurately and updated in a timely manner.
  • Support the wider de-programming team with administrative activities as required.
  • Process data and reports using internal systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
  • Strong numerical skills and confidence working with data and measurements.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within utilities, construction or engineering environments.
  • Experience dealing with billing, validation or data processing activities.
