Are you an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys a varied role and working with people? ACS International Schools is looking for an Administrator to join our busy and welcoming Office Administration Team at our Hillingdon Campus in Uxbridge.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of school life. You will provide essential administrative and operational support to students, parents, staff and school leaders, helping to ensure the day-to-day running of the school is efficient, responsive and well organised.
What will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and administering student attendance, following ACS policy and identifying patterns or concerns that require follow-up.
- Communicating with parents regarding attendance and other day-to-day administrative matters.
- Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with administration, diary coordination and visitor arrangements.
- Providing administrative support for student programmes and activities, including student council, service initiatives and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
- Providing backup support to the School Nurse and undertaking First Aid training as required.
- Supporting a wide range of school events, including award ceremonies, careers events and parent information meetings.
- Coordinating catering and other logistical arrangements for events.
- Supporting the preparation and distribution of weekly student and staff bulletins.
- Providing flexible administrative cover across the school, including Reception when required.
- Coordinating annual student locker allocation and responding to student queries.
- Maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school to provide an excellent service to our students, parents and wider community.

About you
You will already be based in the UK and have experience in an administrative or comparable support role and ideally some experience within a school or education environment. You will be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word, as well as Google Workspace.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised, accurate and able to manage competing priorities.
- A confident and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Calm and composed when dealing with challenging or unexpected situations.
- Proactive, resourceful and able to use their initiative.
- Discreet and able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Approachable and comfortable working with students, parents, staff and visitors from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Flexible and collaborative, with a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Based in/has Right to Work Status in the UK
You will also be educated to at least A Level or equivalent.

- Location: Vine Lane, Uxbridge, UB10 0BE
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Hours: 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent, term time only, 45 weeks per year
- Closing date: 25th October 2026
