Bristol / Gloucester Area | Permanent Position

Are you an organised and proactive Administrator looking to build a long-term career within the construction and infrastructure sector?

We are seeking an Administrator to support the delivery of a variety of engineering and highways projects across the Bristol and Gloucester region. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent career progression, working closely with project teams on busy civil engineering and construction schemes. Due to the nature of the projects and site locations, candidates who are able to drive are preferred.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Team, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within construction, civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and managing invoices and cost records.
  • Maintaining records relating to aggregates, plant hire, materials, and labour.
  • Supporting weekly site inspections and maintaining associated documentation.
  • Taking accurate minutes during project and site meetings.
  • Filing, archiving, and maintaining project records.
  • Scanning and uploading documentation to SharePoint.
  • Updating project trackers and monitoring project information.
  • Supporting Project Managers and site teams with general administrative duties.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and project documentation.

About You

  • Previous administration experience within engineering, highways, construction, infrastructure, or a similar sector is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using SharePoint would be advantageous.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred.
