About The Role
Balfour Beatty Asset & Technology Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our team based in Derby.
This role will provide key administrative support to the business, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations. You will play an important part in supporting colleagues, maintaining accurate records, coordinating information, and helping teams deliver a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working in a busy environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.
What you'll be doing
As An Administrator, You Will
- Provide general administrative support to the team and wider business.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data across relevant systems.
- Support with the preparation, processing, and filing of documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication across teams.
- Respond to queries professionally and efficiently, escalating where required.
- Support the timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks.
- Help ensure business processes are followed in line with company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams and functions.
- Promote safe, compliant, and consistent working practices.
- Represent Balfour Beatty professionally, demonstrating integrity, respect, and accountability in all interactions.
Who we're looking for
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling information and documentation.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and build positive working relationships.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- A customer-focused mindset with a professional and helpful manner.
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality, compliance, and safe working practices.
