Financial Administrator – Pathway to Paraplanner
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
The Role
We're recruiting a Financial Administrator to join a growing independent financial planning firm based near Maidstone.
Based in beautiful offices set in the countryside just outside of Maidstone, this is a genuine career opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within financial planning, with a clear pathway into a Paraplanner role. You'll work alongside a small team of experienced advisers, gaining exposure to both administration and paraplanning while receiving dedicated mentorship and study support towards professional qualifications.
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day client administration and case management
- Prepare financial planning documentation and suitability reports (full training provided)
- Support advisers with research and technical queries
- Maintain databases and complete compliance administration
- Gradually take on paraplanning projects under supervision
- Assist with client meetings and financial planning sessions
- Liaise with clients, providers and other third parties as required

About The Company
An established independent financial planning firm with experienced advisers and ambitious growth plans.
The firm works with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trustees and families, providing a broad range of financial planning and wealth management services.
Who They’re Looking For
- Financial Administrator with some experience in financial services or wealth management
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Genuine interest in financial planning and delivering excellent client service
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Keen to develop technical knowledge and progress towards professional qualifications
- Comfortable working in a close-knit, small-team environment
- Ambitious and motivated to progress into paraplanning
