Please note that we have two permanent roles available.

This role is based at Future Walk, Chesterfield, S49 1PF, and requires attendance in the office 4 days per week.

Our Finance team plays a critical role in driving business performance, supporting growth, and delivering strategic insight across the organisation. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join our Group Receivables Shared Services team, playing a key role in supporting the efficient management of customer accounts and financial processes.

About The Role

The Finance Administrator is responsible for supporting the efficient management of customer accounts, billing activities, reconciliations, and financial data, ensuring all work is delivered accurately and within agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing billing, reconciliations, and cash allocation activities.
  • Setting up and maintaining customer accounts and services.
  • Processing account amendments through SAP, Salesforce, email, and other approved channels.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and master data records.
  • Investigating and resolving customer, operational, and system-related queries.
  • Supporting financial controls and compliance requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a high-quality service.

About You

The successful candidate will be organised, analytical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and experience:

  • AAT part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE).
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial or operational data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience of SAP and Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of QlikView or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience of customs and duties processes.
