Sapphire Utility Solutions is a leading provider of award-winning services to the clean water, wastewater, gas, digital networks, and highways sector. Established in 2013, we have quickly grown from strength to strength.
We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our administration team at our site on Pride Park.
About the Role
- Location: Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8JH
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Lunch Break: 30 minutes
- Salary: from £26,500 to £28,000
Role Duties
- General day-to-day administration, providing a high level of support to the department.
- Updating our in-house database system.
- Developing and maintaining an effective filing system.
- Producing reports for managers.
- Monitoring and reacting to a range of data generated within the business.
- Managing phone calls, enquiries, and requests.
- Liaison with all internal staff regarding related queries, dealing with queries where possible or passing them through to the team as necessary.
- Updating records will include working on various databases as well as Microsoft Office, including Excel at an intermediate level.
- General scanning, filing, as and when required by the department.

Experience/Must Haves for the Role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
- IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of fleet management systems, also standard email, word processors, presentations, and must be proficient in Excel.
- Customer service skills and the ability to converse at all levels.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Able to work within a team, take direction from others, and collaborate with others.
- Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
