Office Administrator
Location: St Albans
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an organised and reliable Office Administrator to join an established industrial business based in St Albans.
This is a varied administrative role supporting the day-to-day running of the business. The successful candidate will be confident dealing with customers, handling telephone and internet enquiries, and completing general office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
- Responding to internet and email enquiries
- Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Entering and maintaining customer and order information
- Dealing with customer queries and providing a helpful, professional service
- Carrying out general office and administrative duties
- Preparing and updating documents and records
- Assisting the wider team with day-to-day administration
- Using Microsoft Word and Excel for basic office tasks

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised and able to manage a variety of administrative tasks
- Friendly, professional and confident when speaking to customers
- Accurate with good attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and standard office software
- Able to work independently as well as as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and keen to learn

Previous administration or office experience would be an advantage, as would experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, but full training can be provided for the right person.
