DP World is recruiting for an organised and detail-focused Administrator to join our Operations team in Coventry. This role is responsible for providing effective administrative support across the site, ensuring information is accurately recorded, systems are maintained, and customer and stakeholder queries are handled in a timely and professional manner. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of day-to-day administrative activities through accurate data entry, document management, reporting, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
About The Role
How you will contribute:
- Deal with customer queries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and escalating issues where required.
- Gather information from a variety of sources and present clear and accurate information to both internal and external customers.
- Complete data entry activities accurately and efficiently, including entering, amending, updating, and submitting information onto relevant systems.
- Inspect proof of delivery documentation, ensuring information is accurate and complete.
- Maintain internal systems, ensuring data and records are kept accurate and up to date.
- Monitor and manage incoming emails, responding to requests and ensuring actions are completed within agreed timescales.
- Provide general administrative support to the Admin and Warehouse teams, helping to ensure the smooth running of site operations.
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the business, building effective working relationships and supporting the delivery of operational requirements.
- Manage multiple administrative tasks effectively, prioritising workloads to ensure deadlines and commitments are consistently met.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle company information appropriately at all times.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times, promoting company values, safety standards, ethical practices, and a positive working culture.

Your Key Skills/Experience
- Previous experience in an office administration or similar administrative role.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and confidence using computer-based systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and identify errors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and deliver results within agreed deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Admin, Warehouse, and wider operational teams.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with a positive “can do” attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information appropriately.
