Administrator Team Leader

Bupa Clinic & Dental Care, Solihull (B91 3RX)
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: Up to £33,600 per annum, plus fantastic benefits
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Shifts scheduled between 7:00am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday working required

The role

The Admin Team Leader will manage teams of multi-skilled administrators within a Bupa Health Clinics centre and deliver all ‘Administrator’ duties as and when required. You will supervise and coordinate all back of house administration requirements ensuring the smooth running of the administration teams and onward requirements of the customer. Also ensuring all administration supports the centre requirements in providing an outstanding experience for our customers.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Proactively deal with all issues which arise in administration matters, be that to do with the customer experience or your team.
  • Share best practice approaches to administration processes within the admin team and across the business.
  • Monitor and control all finance work carried out by the administrative team.
  • Forecast on a weekly basis to match capacity to targets.
  • Engage and motivate all employees within your team through coaching, one to ones, daily briefings, team meetings, written briefings etc, so that they understand the business objectives and the impact of their role on our success in conjunction with the centre manager.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • PC literate, excellent knowledge of MS office packages.
  • Experience of working within a busy clinical environment.
  • Medical Secretary experience.
  • Some previous leadership experience and people management skills (desirable).
  • Customer service experience and highly customer focused.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
