About the Company

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business operating within the security, safety and automation sector. The company provides a range of specialist solutions and services to residential, commercial and educational clients, with expertise across areas including security systems, CCTV, access control, fire detection, networking and other integrated technology solutions. With a strong reputation for customer service, reliability and responsive support, the business works with a diverse client base and provides both installation and ongoing maintenance services. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to join their busy office-based team. This is a key role within the business, combining front-of-house responsibilities with general administration and providing support to customers, engineers, suppliers and internal teams.

The Role

We are looking for an organised, confident and personable Receptionist / Administrator who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced and active office environment.

You will be the first point of contact for the business, handling incoming calls and emails, welcoming visitors and ensuring enquiries are dealt with professionally and efficiently.

Alongside the front-of-house element, you will provide a broad range of administrative support across the business. This will include updating internal systems, maintaining accurate records, assisting with customer and engineer administration, and ensuring information is communicated effectively between different teams. The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in a similar reception, administration, office coordination or customer-facing role. You should be comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change throughout the day and where being proactive, organised and able to multitask is essential. Experience within a technical, engineering, facilities, construction, security or service-based environment would be advantageous.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
