Hays Business Support is delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in Elgin with the recruitment of a Temporary Administrator for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive office environment on a full-time basis for an initial 6-8 week assignment. The organisation is seeking a professional and adaptable individual who can quickly become part of the team and provide essential administrative support during a particularly busy period.

Your new role

In this varied administrative role, you will be responsible for supporting a busy team with a variety of administrative tasks. Your duties will include:

  • Handling incoming telephone calls
  • Responding to and managing email enquiries through shared inboxes
  • Booking appointments
  • Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems
  • Ensuring records are kept up to date

You will work closely with colleagues across the team, providing a high level of administrative support while delivering a professional and customer-focused service to both internal and external stakeholders. This is a fully office-based position where you will play an integral role within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support position
  • Confidence managing a varied workload
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A positive, proactive approach to your work
  • Strong IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams

You will be comfortable working as part of a team, building positive working relationships and delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.
