About Us Bell Sustainable Roofing (BSR) is a specialist roofing contractor delivering high-quality roofing and refurbishment projects across the UK. As part of Bell Building Projects, we combine the agility of a growing business with the stability and security of an established organisation.
With an expanding portfolio of projects and ambitious plans for growth, we're looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to become an integral part of our Manchester team.
The Role We are looking for an Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our business. This is a varied role that combines office administration, compliance, business systems, and accounts support.
You'll play an important part in ensuring our company accreditations, compliance records, and internal systems are maintained to a high standard, while also providing administrative support to our operational and commercial teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in keeping things organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain company systems and ensure business records remain accurate and up to date.
- Support the management and renewal of company accreditations, including Constructionline, CHAS, SafeContractor, ISO standards, and other industry certifications.
- Assist with compliance documentation, audits, and evidence gathering.
- Maintain supplier and subcontractor records, ensuring compliance documentation is current.
- Process purchase invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and support the accounts function with day-to-day administration.
- Raise purchase orders and assist with invoice queries.
- Coordinate employee training bookings and maintain training records.
- Support Health & Safety administration and document control.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and setting up internal systems.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and meeting bookings where required.
- Maintain company asset registers and office records.
- Provide general office administration, including filing, document management, and stationery ordering.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Produce reports and spreadsheets to support the wider business.
- Work closely with colleagues across all departments to support the continued growth of the business.

Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to improve processes and systems.
Desirable
- Previous experience within the construction industry.
- Experience supporting company accreditations or compliance.
- Accounts administration experience.
- Knowledge of Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Familiarity with ISO management systems.
