Administrator/Scheduler Role
So, you’re an organisation expert wanting to take your career to the next level? Our Administrator/Scheduler role within our Home Visits service could be perfect for you.
We need you to have optics experience for this particular position.
As an Administrator/Scheduler with Specsavers, you’ll be a key part of our business, ensuring all admin and clinic scheduling & appointment booking is completed in the most effective and efficient way possible for our Home Visits team, while always putting our customers first. The role also involves administrative duties, including updating customer files, therefore strong attention to detail is essential. You’ll take incoming calls, as well as making outbound calls to customers, as such, excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner are required. It would be great if you have an understanding of the Specsavers products and pricing and be confident discussing quotes and pricing options with patients over the phone. You will also deal with aftercare queries so you need to be good at troubleshooting and handling dispensing issues and finding solutions for the customers and be able to process NHS patient information. You will also help the clinical team as they deliver clinics across the region, along with external parties, so confidence when dealing with people is important.

We're looking for someone who preferably has experience in Optics, with a level-headed approach to managing day-to-day customer care, with an emphasis on route planning and scheduling appointments across our region, and delivery of excellent customer service for our Home Visits team. Someone who can work at pace managing a busy workload, sometimes with conflicting deadlines, and who demonstrates excellent time management skills. You will need to be confident working on your own initiative and will be responsible for all administrative duties for the business. Current or previous appointment setting or scheduling experience is preferred for this role.
You’ll be part of a supportive team delivering care to people who are unable to visit our stores, meaning you’ll make a real difference every day.

You will be based out of our Home Visits office located in Lawmax House, 30-32 Nottingham Road, Stapleford, NG9 8AA.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous route planning, appointment setting, or scheduling experience is desired
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Previous Optics experience is essential
- Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Call centre, office experience, and customer service skills are desired
