About the Role

Streatham & Clapham High School (SCHS) is seeking an experienced Admissions and Marketing Officer to join our team from September 2026 and play a pivotal role at the heart of school operations.

The Admissions and Marketing Officer is responsible for enhancing the school’s profile, supporting student recruitment, and strengthening retention. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the postholder will lead the delivery of high-quality marketing and communications activity across digital, print and school channels, ensuring all content reflects the school’s values, ambitions, and the GDST brand.

The role has two core priorities:

  • Driving targeted marketing campaigns to attract prospective students
  • Delivering engaging, effective communications that strengthen relationships with current families and the wider community

Through a consistent and compelling communications strategy, the postholder will help build awareness, reputation and stakeholder engagement.

As part of a collaborative team, the postholder will also provide support to the admissions function, particularly during peak periods and staff absence, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for prospective families.

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality marketing service that promotes the school, strengthens relationships with current families and supports student recruitment and retention. The appointment is expected to commence in September 2026.

Streatham & Clapham High School is an independent, academically selective school for girls, aged 3 to 18 with over 870 pupils across the Prep and Senior Schools.
