This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require 1 day travel into our Coventry head office every 2-3 weeks. This may fluctuate in line with business requirements. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

Admissions:

Our fantastic Admissions team coordinate, assess and process all applications and the enrolment of students while ensuring the University’s admissions process is compliant with necessary regulatory legislation.

About the Role - Admissions Compliance Team Leader:

You will lead the Admissions Compliance Team; overseeing day-to-day operations, workload planning, and staff development while promoting a positive, collaborative, and high-performing working environment.

The role includes monitoring admissions data quality and ensuring compliance with system standards, acting as the escalation point for complex compliance issues, and coordinating audits, investigations, and the University's admissions audit programme.

You will also oversee the management of applicant enquiries, ensuring timely responses and compliance with customer service SLAs, while supporting admissions leadership to embed best practice, strengthen compliance, and enhance operational effectiveness.

About You:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Admissions Compliance Team Leader with the following experience:

Essential requirements:

  • Proven track record of extensive relevant work experience, demonstrating practical and theoretical knowledge of a specific/specialised field of work.
  • Excellent standards of literacy and numeracy and IT proficiency.
  • Line management or coaching skills including motivating and managing staff performance.
  • Proven planning and organising skills and able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Experience of managing teams and/or a significant project or processes.
  • A good understanding of regulations within HE and the implications of non-compliance.

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience with the use and ongoing maintenance of SITS as an e-vision user
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience using data for decision making. Ability to work with, interpret and prepare data.
  • Experience within the HE sector and working knowledge of areas of the university relevant to the admissions department.
