Role Overview
The role will be to provide a comprehensive and quality service to Consultants and Specialty Managers in the management of waiting lists and the planning of operating lists.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of hospital procedures, waiting list policies, and software programmes.
- Manage and organise Consultants waiting lists, identify problems, deal with them using your own initiative, and strategically plan your own workload.
Key Role in Organisation
- The Admissions Co-ordinator holds a key role in the achievement of Government and Trust targets and the Trust’s financial division.
- The post-holder will take an active role in the Patient Agreed Booking Programme and the Electronic Patient Record project.
- Participation as a team member in the smooth running of the day-to-day operational management of the GI & Breast Surgery Admissions Department.
