Adobe Campaign CRM Contractor

Location: London
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Working Hours: Part-Time (3x a week) | 1-2 Days on-site
Rate: £400-440 per day

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a well-established consumer-facing organisation undergoing a significant transformation within its customer marketing function. The project combines hands-on campaign delivery with strategic platform optimisation, offering the chance to make a tangible impact across customer communications, data utilisation, and marketing operations.

The Company

They are a recognised subscription-led business with a large customer base and a strong focus on customer engagement. Following a recent restructure, they have introduced a new customer marketing model centred around acquisition, retention, and customer journey planning. Their CRM team acts as the delivery engine that supports these functions, working closely with data, analytics, product, and marketing stakeholders to create impactful customer experiences.

The Role and Deliverables

  • Build and optimise customer journeys within Adobe Campaign, supporting new subscription and customer communication initiatives.
  • Develop workflows, API-triggered campaigns, and automated customer communications across web and app channels.
  • Collaborate with product, retention, analytics, and audience teams to define customer journey requirements and campaign execution plans.
  • Conduct a full audit of the Adobe Campaign environment, reviewing workflows, templates, schemas, and platform configuration.
  • Produce clear documentation and recommendations to improve platform governance, administration, and operational efficiency.
  • Carry out campaign QA, rendering checks, and delivery validation to ensure a high standard of execution.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign, including workflow development and campaign execution.
  • Experience building and managing customer journey programmes within CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Campaign app functionality, including message centres, transactional communications, and mobile customer engagement.
  • Experience working with relational data models, audience segmentation, and customer data-driven marketing.
  • Ability to create technical documentation and perform platform audits.
  • Understanding of API-triggered communications and marketing automation processes.
  • Experience with email campaign development and working knowledge of HTML for email.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to independently scope work, prioritise deliverables, and manage project timelines.
