About the Role

Energy Assets is seeking an experienced Adoption Manager to lead the end-to-end adoption of electricity distribution networks into our Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) business.

Reporting to the Head of Electricity Networks, you will be responsible for ensuring that electricity networks adopted by Energy Assets meet all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements. Leading a team of engineers and technical support colleagues, you will oversee robust adoption processes, maintain high standards of compliance and data quality, and work closely with connection providers to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant network handovers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electricity networks professional to take ownership of a critical function within a growing and ambitious business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end adoption process for electricity distribution networks, ensuring contractual milestones are achieved.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, including network designs, as-built drawings, and completion packs.
  • Ensure all adopted assets comply with industry standards, engineering requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Lead, develop, and support a high-performing technical team.
  • Build effective relationships with Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), developers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across adoption processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Monitor operational performance against agreed KPIs and service levels.
  • Ensure accurate asset information is captured to support the safe operation of adopted networks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
