We are recruiting for an Adoptions Coordinator to support the delivery of the Blue Cross strategy by providing an efficient service which coordinates the adoption of horses from centres, foster yards or from home-based services.

More About The Role

In this key role, you will be responsible for hitting horse rehoming targets and providing post-adoption support by collaborating with Regional Adoptions Facilitators. Working efficiently with Adoptions and Admissions Coordinators, Foster Yard Coordinators, and the onsite adoption preparation team, you'll maximize adoptions across the Rehoming and Fostering network. This ensures swift intake of horses to pre-matched new homes.

Daily, you’ll manage a pool of homes, match and adopt horses, and offer post-adoption support, making key decisions based on your knowledge of potential adopters and available horses. You'll identify horses and adopters needing extra support and prioritize their needs. Building strong relationships with adopters while balancing the needs of horses and the national network is crucial.

Ensuring excellent client interactions is as important as delivering robust rehoming services. Your role is critical to achieving Blue Cross's ambitious strategy of helping more horses find loving homes.

This is a part-time role working 33.75 hours over 4.5 days per week on a rota which includes weekends and bank holidays following the below work pattern:

  • Sunday
  • Monday
  • Tuesday
  • Wednesday
  • Thursday (AM)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
