Adoptions Engineer
Via East Midlands are currently seeking an Adoptions Engineer to join our Developments Team based out of our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.

What you'll do:
- Take lead role in the management of site inspections related to S38 and S278 works
- To monitor works progress and address day to day technical queries with external stakeholders and their representatives to ensure construction works comply with legal agreements and are undertaken to the required specifications and standards.
- Manage consultation, communication and liaison with clients and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including members of the public and elected Members to facilitate project delivery and maintain positive company reputation
- Adhere to Health and Safety management systems, processes and requirements ensuring full adherence to health, safety and environmental legislation, policy and best practice and safeguarding staff contractors and members of the public.

What we're seeking:
- HNC in Civil Engineering or a related subject and post qualification relevant experience or equivalent knowledge.
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or Engineering Technician and Member of a Professional Institution (relevant discipline) or working towards
- Strong ICT skills including competence in specialist computer applications used to support engineering design activities including working knowledge of computer aided design and knowledge of data management environments.
- Working knowledge of current highway and civil engineering design standards
- Knowledge of health and safety, technical, traffic management and other legislation and good practice appropriate to highway and civil engineering construction and maintenance activities.
- Full UK Driving Licence and a valid CSCS
