About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adoptions & Engineering Lead to take ownership of infrastructure completion and adoption across developments throughout the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with experience in highways, drainage, sectional agreements and adoption processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the adoption of highways, drainage, pumping stations and public open spaces.
  • Lead S38, S104, S111 and S278 agreements through technical, approval and legal processes.
  • Liaise with local authorities, solicitors, contractors, bondsmen and adopting bodies.
  • Oversee infrastructure completion, inspections and remedial works.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and programme delivery.
  • Resolve legacy adoption issues and engineering queries.
  • Provide technical support during pre-construction and future developments.
  • Promote health & safety, best practice and continuous improvement.

About You

  • HNC or equivalent Level 4 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction or Design.
  • Proven experience in an Adoptions Manager or similar role within housebuilding.
  • Strong knowledge of adoption processes, sectional agreements and infrastructure delivery.
  • Experience managing adoption bonds and securing releases.
  • Good understanding of CDM and construction health & safety.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ideally experience of AutoCAD/COINS
