About the Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and enthusiastic ADT Technician to support the delivery of outstanding learning experiences across Art, Design & Technology, and Food & Nutrition. Working closely with teaching staff, you will provide technical and administrative support through the preparation of lessons, equipment, materials, and resources, helping to ensure that practical activities run smoothly and safely. The role involves maintaining workshops, studios, food rooms, and equipment to a high standard, monitoring and ordering stock, liaising with suppliers, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and relevant legislation. You will also support pupils in lessons, promote their welfare, inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour, and contribute to the wider life of the school through events, trips, open mornings, and other faculty activities. This is a varied and rewarding role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and well-resourced learning environment for both pupils and staff.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated individual with an interest in Art, Design Technology and/or Food & Nutrition, and a willingness to develop their skills through training and hands-on experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, administrative and ICT skills, together with the ability to remain calm and efficient while managing a varied workload and working under pressure. A strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements, an understanding of the high standards and expectations within an independent school environment, and a commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and enrichment opportunities are essential. You will be a proactive team player who is eager to contribute to a successful school community, bringing energy, flexibility, and a positive attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile to support colleagues, pupils, and the wider ADT Faculty.
