Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Adtech specialist to join our Tech Partnerships team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in digital marketing and a deep understanding of the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) - including Google Analytics, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, and Campaign Manager 360.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our most valued clients, ensuring they are maximizing the value from the GMP tech stack. You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them to navigate the complexities of the digital advertising ecosystem in an evolving privacy and consent landscape, to achieve their marketing goals.
This role is key in developing and executing long-term strategies for our clients, driving adoption of Google’s latest AI-powered and agentic technology, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
As Adtech Account Manager, you’ll own the client relationship and drive the strategic direction of our GMP tech clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of GMP clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Developing and executing strategic tech maturity roadmaps to achieve client goals and drive revenue growth.
- Acting as the main point of contact for your clients, providing expert guidance across the GMP tech stack.
- Managing technical requests, maintaining SLAs, ensuring all support tickets and projects are delivered on time.
- Leading client onboarding including technical setup, platform training, and long-term adtech strategy development.
- Identifying opportunities to grow client accounts and upsell/cross-sell our services.
- Advising clients on first-party data strategy, consent management, and server-side tagging as the privacy and identity landscape continues to evolve.
- Supporting and enabling channel teams with tech and data expertise.
- Working closely with channel teams to deliver integrated solutions for our clients.
- Remaining at the forefront of new GMP product releases, AI/Gemini features, and wider industry trends and developments, through continual learning and upskilling.

Person Specification
- Proven experience in a client-facing role within adtech or the digital marketing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform (GMP), including Google Analytics, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager 360, and Display & Video 360.
- Strong understanding of the tech and data infrastructures that enable digital marketing, including general tracking and tagging concepts (i.e., Google Floodlights).
- An understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic, paid search, paid social, and commerce/retail media.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to work to deadlines.
- A collaborative and client-focused approach.
It will be advantageous if you also have:
- Experience in either a SaaS, technical sales, or consulting environment.
- Experience with tracking and tagging methodologies and platforms (Google Tag Manager, Tealium).
- Awareness of the evolving privacy and identity landscape, including consent management (Consent Mode v2), server-side tagging (s-GTM), and first-party data strategy.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions such as BigQuery, Data Studio, for data activation and analysis.
- A solid understanding of cross-channel media activation and the tech infrastructure that enables this activity (from CRM, CDP through to reporting and ads platforms).

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, with flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
