AdTech & MarTech Technical Consultant (Privacy & Consent)
Contract | Outside IR35 | London & Remote Hybrid
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Technical Consultant with deep AdTech and MarTech expertise and a strong privacy and consent background.
The focus is hands-on technical privacy assurance: intercepting and analysing the network calls made by apps, connected devices and IoT products, and auditing HTTP Archive (HAR) logs to confirm that data collection, SDK behaviour and third-party calls match consent choices and regulatory requirements.
You'll bridge marketing technology, data governance and privacy compliance, making sure consent principles are embedded in platform design, data flows, audience strategies and measurement.
Key Responsibilities
Network Analysis & Privacy Auditing
- Intercept and inspect network traffic from mobile apps, web, connected devices and IoT products using proxy and traffic analysis tools.
- Audit HAR logs to identify tracking calls, identifiers, payloads and third-party data transfers.
- Verify that consent signals are honoured before and after user choice, and that no data is shared without a lawful basis.
- Identify undeclared SDKs, data leakage and non-compliant tracking, and recommend remediation.
- Produce clear audit findings for engineering, Product and Legal stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
