APRA Care is a dedicated care agency based in Cornwall, committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in need of care and assistance. They are offering an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team as a Lead Adult Care apprentice!

Duties

  • Supporting adults with a range of care and support needs
  • Showing understanding of person-centred care, dignity, choice, independence, and safeguarding
  • Following care plans, risk assessments, and organisational policies
  • Communicating effectively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Mentoring, supervising, and leading shifts
  • Supporting colleagues
  • Developing on leadership skills
  • Maintaining care records with IT systems
