What We're Looking For
- RCSLT-recognised SLT degree and HCPC registration.
- A passion for supporting adult patients with acquired conditions.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a desire to develop your leadership abilities.

Main Duties of the Job
You will be part of the Adult Speech and Language therapy team and the wider Adult Community Therapies service. The community adult SLT service is lead by a B8a clinical lead and there are strong professional links between SLT services within RFH, including access to outpatient videofluoroscopy and FEES clinics.
You will be co-located with Adult Community therapies (which includes Community rehab, Community Neurological rehab, Nutrition and Dietetics, Community Stroke rehabilitation, MND co-ordinator, and Parkinson's nurse specialist). This allows the services to deliver high quality, responsive, multidisciplinary, and holistic care within the borough.
We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician, keen to work with us in shaping and developing our services to meet the challenges of delivering appropriate care in the right place and at the right time. We need you to be passionate about making a difference to patients and their families. We are continually looking at our service delivery and how our services can integrate more fully to provide 1st class care to the population we serve.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
As part of the adult SLT service providing care to a multi-cultural and diverse population, to deliver a high standard of speech and language therapy care to patients and their carers in the community.

To perform comprehensive speech and language assessment (communication and/or swallowing) of adults with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. To use this assessment to provide a clinical diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
The Community adult SLT service for the London Borough of Enfield is co-located with Adult Community therapies (which includes Community rehab, Community Neurological rehab, Nutrition and dietetics, community stroke rehabilitation, MND co-ordinator, and Parkinson's nurse specialist). This allows the services to deliver high quality, responsive, multidisciplinary, and holistic care within the Borough.
