Role Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to adults with autism, assisting with personal care, social activities, and skill development to promote independence.
- Implement individualised support plans, monitor progress, and report any changes in behaviour or needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
- Attend training sessions to enhance skills and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices.

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Experience in social care or working with individuals with autism is desirable but not essential.
- Attitude: A caring, patient, and reliable attitude is required, along with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, adhering to our values of Understand, Empower, and Aspire.
- Skills: Basic literacy and numeracy skills are necessary, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally is essential.
- Communication: Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Monitoring: Ability to observe, monitor, and report changes in behaviour or needs in a timely manner.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to adapt to individual support plans and the varying needs of service users.
- Confidentiality: Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding principles to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
