Job Title: Audiologist (Adult Audiology)
About the Role
We are looking to recruit a clinically competent audiologist with considerable experience in Adult Audiology to provide leadership and management in the Adult hearing services at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine and specialist clinical services to adults.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide a key role in the training of PTP and HTS students.
- Be responsible for staff training and management.
- Work closely with the Clinical Lead for Adult Audiology Services in the development of the service.
- Work alongside other team leaders managing the Adult hearing services, the Vestibular service, the Tinnitus and Hyperacousis service, the Paediatric service and Private hearing aid service.
- Undertake clinical work at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, outreach clinics, and home visits.
Clinical Opportunities
- Participation in a wide range of educational and professional development opportunities including monthly training sessions.
- Actively encouraged to participate and complete the BAA Higher Training Scheme modules.
- Supported to attend external specialist training courses.
- Opportunity to participate in ongoing research projects undertaken within the service.

Service Development
- Motivated by the need for ongoing service development and teamwork.

Working Conditions
- Participation in a 7-day a week working rota to support the service.
- Core hours of service are 9am - 5pm.
- Flexible working patterns can be discussed at interview.
