Make your mark for patients
Join our growing team of Benefit-Risk and Medical Safety experts, with opportunities at different career levels across our Belgium and United Kingdom as well as the US hubs. We are specifically seeking Benefit-Risk Leads (Program or Indication Safety Leads) and Benefit-Risk Scientists to support our platform-driven strategy in next-generation immunology.
About the role
You will contribute directly to cutting-edge work in combinatorial immunotherapy and cell depletion. Your expertise will help shape safe and effective medicines that address unmet needs and improve outcomes for patients living with immune-mediated diseases. The scope and level of ownership will reflect your experience, from scientific contribution through to strategic leadership.
This is an opportunity to influence emerging development programs early, when scientific insight and sound benefit-risk decisions can have the greatest impact.
Who you’ll work with
You will help shape a new, growing team that brings together biotechnology innovation and established pharmaceutical development. With a clear focus on clinical development, you will work closely with colleagues from clinical, regulatory, patient engagement, pharmacovigilance, quality and real-world evidence amongst other functions. Together, you will prospectively shape benefit-risk and evidence strategies that support clear, compelling regulatory submissions.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain benefit-risk assessments, safety monitoring and risk management approaches across clinical development.
- Analyse diverse scientific and safety evidence to identify emerging risks and explain their potential impact on patients.
- Prepare clear, accurate safety reports, regulatory responses, submission documents and decision materials.
- Collaborate across scientific, medical and regulatory functions to turn complex evidence into practical decisions.
- At senior levels, own benefit-risk strategy, lead governance discussions and coordinate high-quality work across functions.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline; a relevant advanced degree is desirable such as an MD/PhD.
- Experience in pharmaceutical clinical development, medical safety, benefit-risk assessment, safety writing and risk management, appropriate to level.
- Experience in immunology, CAR-T cell therapy or T-cell engager development is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze scientific evidence and communicate balanced conclusions clearly in written and spoken English.
- Experience contributing to safety outputs; senior profiles should demonstrate strategic ownership and leadership of complex deliverables (indication or global program safety leadership).
- Comfort working across functions, priorities and lifecycle stages while maintaining quality, integrity and patient focus.
- Interest in roles based in our Belgium or United Kingdom hubs and openness to an international working environment.
