Role Description

This is an on-site Advanced Practitioner MSK Injections role based at Premier Private GP in Bagshot. The practitioner will perform musculoskeletal (MSK) assessments, administer image-guided and non-image-guided joint and soft tissue injections, and develop evidence-based treatment plans aligned with clinic protocols.

  • Conducting detailed clinical consultations
  • Reviewing medical histories
  • Documenting care accurately
  • Coordinating follow-up
  • Working closely with GPs and other clinicians to ensure integrated patient management

The role also involves:

  • Advising patients on rehabilitation, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications
  • Supporting service development
  • Upholding clinical governance, safety, and infection control standards

Qualifications

  • Advanced clinical skills in musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, and management, including proficiency in MSK joint and soft tissue injections.
  • Strong patient-facing skills, including clear communication, trauma-informed care, and the ability to build trust and explain complex information in an accessible way.
  • Accurate clinical documentation skills, familiarity with electronic medical record systems, and adherence to regulatory and clinical governance standards.
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to liaise effectively with GPs, consultants, physiotherapists, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
  • Relevant professional registration (e.g., as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Physician Associate, or Allied Health Professional) with current license to practice.
  • Postgraduate training or formal certification in MSK medicine, injection therapy, or sports and exercise medicine is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development, audit participation, and evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a clinic setting, manage time effectively, and prioritize patient safety and quality of care.
