Overview
Mylar Specialty Films (Formerly Dupont Teijin Films) is a leading global producer of PET and PEN polyester films specializing in film products and related services for markets and industries including Durable Cards, Electrical Insulation, Flexible Electronics, Healthcare, Imaging Media, Labels, Packaging, Photovoltaics and many more. Mylar Specialty Films is a 50/50 Joint Venture between Celanese Corporation and Teijin Limited. The business has approximately 2000 employees worldwide with manufacturing sites in Asia Pacific, America and Europe.
We are seeking an experienced Account Representative based in the UK or Luxembourg to manage and grow our customer portfolio primarily in Germany, with potential opportunities to support accounts across the broader EMEA region.
This is a strategic commercial role focused on three core pillars: account planning and management, sales pipeline development, and value capture. You will serve as the primary commercial contact for customers, driving revenue growth while building long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
Account Management & Customer Relationships
- Act as the primary commercial contact for new and existing customers in the assigned region
- Build and grow relationships across different functions and seniority levels within key customer organizations
- Develop and execute strategic account plans (key account plans) aligned with global and regional business strategies

Sales & Business Development
- Meet and exceed sales targets in line with Global and Regional Business Strategies
- Identify and deliver new business opportunities at both new and existing customer accounts
- Drive sales pipeline development and convert opportunities into revenue
- Prepare and maintain 18-month rolling sales forecasts for assigned accounts
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Value Creation
- Develop close working relationships with customer service teams and other cross-functional teams within Mylar Specialty Films
- Implement specific actions to enhance profitability across your account portfolio
- Collaborate with customer service to ensure cash receivables are effectively managed at assigned accounts
Qualifications
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 5+ years of proven work experience in an account management role within technical films, plastics, or a similar B2B technical industry
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills

Language & Communication Skills
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- German language skills are a strong advantage
- Additional European languages are highly desirable
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a solution-focused approach
Travel & Location
- Based in UK or Luxembourg
- Willing and able to travel 30% - 60% of the time domestically or within the EMEA region
