Advanced Associate, Learning and Development

Description

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced administrative environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional customer service.

As part of Pearson TQ's Initial Assessment team, you'll play an important role in supporting learners as they begin their apprenticeship journey. You'll manage learner documentation, coordinate enrolments, support inductions, maintain learner records, and help deliver presentations and onboarding activities across Military locations.

The role aligns with job titles such as Administrator, Training Administrator, Learner Services Administrator, Student Services Administrator, Office Coordinator, Reception Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Education Administrator, or Programme Administrator.

The Role

As an Advanced Associate, Administrative Support, you'll be responsible for ensuring learners are successfully onboarded onto programmes, supporting enrolment activity, maintaining accurate learner records, and providing an excellent experience for learners and stakeholders.

This is more than a traditional administration role. Alongside managing documentation and data, you'll support learner inductions, facilitate presentations, respond to enquiries, and work closely with colleagues to ensure learners receive a smooth and positive experience from enrolment through to programme completion.

The role is based onsite at MoD Southwick Park.

In your first six months, your focus will be on building a strong understanding of Pearson TQ programmes, becoming confident in learner administration processes, supporting enrolment activities, and developing effective working relationships across the team and wider business.

What You'll Own

Success in this role means learners experience a smooth onboarding journey, records remain accurate and compliant, and enrolment activities are delivered efficiently and professionally.

You'll:

  • Support learner enrolment, induction and onboarding activities across apprenticeship and training programmes.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, files and programme documentation.
  • Create and update training plans, learner documentation and individual learning records.
  • Support learner reviews, progress monitoring and programme administration.
  • Deliver learner inductions and facilitate presentations to groups of learners.
  • Explain programme requirements, learner expectations and available qualifications.
  • Respond to learner, tutor and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure learner documentation is completed accurately and in line with funding and compliance requirements.
  • Support absence management, withdrawals and learner record updates.
  • Process and maintain certification, qualification and recognition of prior learning documentation.
  • Maintain databases, learner systems and internal records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Support audit readiness through effective document management and record keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Pearson TQ and external stakeholders to ensure an outstanding learner experience.
  • Travel to learner locations when required to support enrolments and induction delivery.
  • Provide administrative support across the wider team as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
