We are delighted to share that we will be hosting an ACP virtual recruitment event for Oldham Urgent Care & Primary Care Streaming Service on Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th September 2026 at 18:30.

gtd healthcare is one of the largest, not-for-profit, NHS commissioned primary and urgent care providers in North West England.

Previously awarded urgent treatment center status, we have opportunities for bank, part-time and full-time positions with a range of shifts available, Monday to Sunday between 08:00 and 00:00.

Main Duties of the Job

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner working within the Oldham locality you will holistically assess and clinically examine patients with both minor and complex needs. You will have access to pathways and a broad Directory of Services (DoS) along with:

  • Direct access to a wide range of community-based services.
  • Referral rights to SDEC and secondary care.
  • Access to technology to support telephone and video consultations (full induction and training provided).
  • Facilities to see patients face to face (with support if you are expanding your scope of practice).

The service runs from two sites; the Urgent Care Hub in the Integrated Care Centre and our Primary Care Streaming Service within The Royal Oldham Hospital.
