Service Care Solutions are working alongside a leading healthcare provider who are looking to recruit ACP’s for a range of sites across Greater Manchester

Role: Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Location: Greater Manchester

Working: On-site (flexible shifts across GP Surgeries and Urgent Care Services)

Pay Rate: £40 - £55 per hour (Ltd) (dependent on shift)

Contract: Flexible, ongoing opportunities

Role Overview:

  • Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) and Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) qualification.
  • Practice across the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical, leadership, education, and research.
  • Independently assess, diagnose, manage, and prescribe within professional scope and competence.
  • Provide expert care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, complex, urgent, or minor illness.
  • Undertake comprehensive history taking, clinical examination, and appropriate investigations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate safe, evidence-based treatment and management plans.
  • Prescribe safely within the scope of practice and comply with local, national, and organizational prescribing governance.
  • Make appropriate referrals, transfers, and discharges, including effective safety-netting and follow-up.
  • Provide effective telephone and clinical triage across a range of services.
  • Communicate sensitively and effectively with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records and use relevant technology and information systems.
  • Work in accordance with professional standards.
  • Identify and manage clinical risk, safeguarding concerns, infection control, and health & safety requirements.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, revalidation, audit, and shared learning.
  • Work collaboratively as a senior member of the clinical team, supporting effective workforce and service delivery.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet service needs, including travel and in/out-of-hours working, while upholding the organization’s values of patient-centred, high-quality, and innovative care.
