Job Opportunity at Bolton Mental Health Directorate
The Bolton Mental Health Directorate has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to apply for this role, to improve the service delivery within the Inpatient Mental Health Unit.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the clinical and operational team to ensure high quality, recovery focussed care is delivered to our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: The post holder will hold a caseload and will lead assessment, formulation and prescribing of care / treatment planning, including discharge planning within agreed protocols and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Be an integral part of the Multi Disciplinary Team supporting clinical decision making and supporting the service pathways.
- Service Improvement: Support with providing a seamless pathway within the inpatient services.
- Practice and Service Development: The job holder may additionally lead on practice and service developments. The job holder is required to demonstrate clinical and practice expertise via interventions, supervision and modelling good practice.
- Education and Training: To support improving workforce knowledge and practice through the contribution to an inpatient Mental Health Team education and training programme across the inpatient teams within Bolton.
- On-Call Participation: To participate in the BOC/BOS on Call rota.

Requirements
The post holder will provide advanced and expert level of practice (including non-medical prescribing) within the adult inpatient unit leading to improved patient outcomes.
The post holder will support the clinical and operational team to deliver on service improvements in the quality of care and safety through service development, evaluation, and audit.
